Genealogy is the study of familes, family history, and the tracing of their lineage. Genealogists use a variety of methods, such as oral interviews, historical records, genetic analysis, and other records to obtain information about a family. 

 

The Alex Haley Museum, under the direction of Dr. Pam Sirmans, currently offers genealogy services to our visitors.
